Happy Thanksgiving!

It's officially the week of Thanksgiving! I just love the holidays! I like to get out all of my baking dishes and line them up on the counter. I place the recipe and ingredients for the casserole I'm going to cook inside each dish. I am a big planner. Normally I would be shopping for all the holiday trimmings by now, but I had a bit of a mishap. I stepped on a toothpick in my craft room! I had 2 inches of it in my foot and it had to be surgically removed. It has not been a fun week and everything I wanted to do to prepare for the holidays has been put on hold. I go back to the doctor Tuesday and hopefully he will tell me I'm cleared to cook. Let's just hope my holiday table looks like this come Thursday...

I found this on Pinterest and I would love to make this burlap table runner.

Another version of a burlap table runner I found on Pinterest.

Love the Gerber's in the little pumpkins.

Love this!

And of course I had to add my mini Thanksgiving table...

It's Starting To Feel A Little Like Christmas!

We had a great time for Halloween last night. I made a big pot of chili and I made Rice Krispie treats with Reese's Pieces on top. They were so cute and "Halloweeny!" We put the fire pit out front and had marshmallows for the "trick-or-treaters" to roast. We had over a hundred children come by for candy. So fun!

But Halloween is over and it's starting to feel a little like Christmas. My daughter bought the new Justin Bieber Christmas cd this morning. I've been listening to it all day while making Christmas minis! (It's really good by the way.) Here are some of my Christmas creations...
