I have some projects coming up!

This dollhouse was just given to me by a friend who played with it when she was a child. It's a real treasure and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

I found this dollhouse on the internet and it is one of the very few made. There were 2 large boxes of wood pieces and the seller didn't even know if all the pieces were there, but I took a chance because it's a rarity. It's the Little Orphan Annie house and it's a replica of Harold Gray's home that was built in 1881. The Helen Plum Memorial Library has one of these dollhouses on display. My husband started this one for me, but it looks like I will be finishing it. I need more hours in a day to do everything I want to do!

This is what it should look like when it's finished.

I found this house on the internet as well and a teenage girl was selling it because she was moving into her own place. She didn't have room for it and I gladly snatched it up and promised her I would take good care of it. It needs shingles and windows, but I think it will turn out really cute in the end.

I bought this dollhouse from a family who just didn't have room for it anymore in their playroom. (I really don't have room for it either, but I can't ever pass up a dollhouse that's for sale.)

This dollhouse needs a lot of work but it reminded me of the Brady Bunch house. I'm going to redo the carpet and walls, but keep that 60's and 70's retro look.

I bought this house on Craigslist and it's brand new and in excellent condition. The only thing I want to do is change the colors. Any suggestions?

This house was built in the 1930's. It's huge and it was fully furnished. It was a real find. I caught it on the internet when it was just put up for sale. I was the first caller and the owner said that a museum was considering buying it. I gave top dollar for it and loaded it up. There were boxes full of furniture and antique dollhouse accessories. I'll do a whole post when I am finished with this one.

I got this dollhouse for $100 and was offered $300 the next day. It was hand painted by a famous artist in Birmingham, AL. It was loved and played with just as it is, but I'm going to add windows and doors.

When I found this dollhouse on the internet for sale, I thought it was a little unusual. There was stucco around the house but the strokes were too big for a 1:12 scale dollhouse. I scraped it all off first thing. I want to make this a Californian Bed and Breakfast with palm trees and a lot of white furniture and bedding.

This is going to be my Thanksgiving house. I'm going to decorate it in fall colors and have a large Thanksgiving table.

I found this house online and a sweet older gentleman said he builds one dollhouse a year and sells it for a little extra cash. It is as solid as a rock and all it really needs is a yard and furniture.

These are just a few of the many houses I have that need a redo or just to be furnished. It's hard to juggle wanting to work on dollhouses and the desire to make minis for my Etsy shop. My next project is a 4th of July house and I'm already half-way finished with it. I will do a post on it soon. It's a really fun project!
