I love to look at Kim's blog - "It's A Miniature Life." It just makes me giggle to look at all of her miniature cakes and goodies. She shared recently that she was making a cupcake bakery modeled after a real bakery. I thought, "HOW FUN!" So I decided I wanted to make a bakery for all of my mini desserts. I went to Hobby Lobby and found a cute little house that I thought would be perfect for a bakery.
It all came in this little box.
Every piece had to be punched out.
Every piece had to be primed and painted.
I painted pink and white stripes on 2 walls.
Getting close to completion.
All done and very pleased!
I love the bay window.
It will soon be filled with bakery items.
I am painting miniature shelves and I ordered
the cutest bakery display case.

Thanks Kim! I'm trying to figure out all the tricks to the icing and I hope I can make little cakes as pretty as yours.
