I'm In The Furniture Business Now...Mini Furniture That Is

I found this beautiful bench and I absolutely adore it! I sanded it, primed it, painted it, and recovered the cushion with this wonderful fabric that I found at a new sewing shop in town. I hand stitched each pillow, which took me several hours, and then I started on the ottoman/bench. I had 3 fabrics I couldn't decide between and my husband said, "Go with the 

yellow polka dot, it's designer." So I did and I love it! 

There's a slice of coconut cake, a cup of tea, and my favorite magazine...'Tea Time'.

My Mini Beach Cottage...

I've been working around the clock to finish decorating my beach cottage!

Hermit crabs!

I made all of the sweets throughout the cottage from polymer clay.

I made this shell mirror from shells that my sweet friend Catherine

sent me when she heard I was making a beach cottage.

I made the shelves for the lighthouses from window shutters.

I made all of the bedding, curtains, towels, pillows,

and artwork hroughout the entire cottage.

A game of Chinese Checkers, anyone?

My favorite room in the entire cottage...

As you can see I still have 2 rooms yet to complete on the 3rd level,
but for now I'm pretty happy with this mini beach cottage.
