My Mini Beach Cottage...

I've been working around the clock to finish decorating my beach cottage!
Here are the pictures...

Hermit crabs!

I made all of the sweets throughout the cottage from polymer clay.

I made this shell mirror from shells that my sweet friend Catherine
sent me when she heard I was making a beach cottage.

I made the shelves for the lighthouses from window shutters.

I made all of the bedding, curtains, towels, pillows,
and artwork hroughout the entire cottage.

A game of Chinese Checkers, anyone?

My favorite room in the entire cottage...

As you can see I still have 2 rooms yet to complete on the 3rd level,
but for now I'm pretty happy with this mini beach cottage.

Congratulations - so much fun to look at all your accessories - particularly like the framed sea shells and the cushions on the porch in the early photos. Very clear photos too!
Many thanks.

Oh my goodness... is this not one of the most gorgeous things I have ever seen????!!!! I saw the outside of the house on my buddy's side bar (Cinderella Moments) and the house looked so pretty, I wanted to come to see it. Not only is the outside gorgeous, but the inside? Oh my, all of the BEAUTIFUL little things inside! Seriously, you are amazing. This is just out of this world amazing! How about a big, plush, comfy flowered or checkered sofa in your extra room?? :)
Whatever you make it though, I am sure it will be gorgeous. Fantastic job.
Best,
Gloria
P.S. I am going to become a Follower so I will remember to visit you again!

That is simply amazing! Didn't you just recently post the house completely undone? Maybe I was seeing a much older post and didn't realize it. Or you could have just finished these rooms in record breaking time. Very inspiring. I feel like working on my miniature house now.

This is my first visit to your blog. Your house is beautiful. The colors you chose are gorgeous. When I first saw the green bedroom picture on pintrest I thrust it was a life sized room. I am in love with the hermit crabs. Did you make them or buy them? I would love to ad them I. A roombox I am making for my sons.

It can be difficult to remember when looking at these photographs that you are actually seeing a miniature.

So inspired by your work Anna! This gorgeous beach retreat is one of my all time favorite miniature houses ever. I have been back to visit your photos so many times over the last few weeks and each time I see them the awe is exactly the same as the first time I saw them.
I really have not seen anything I love more, you really know your colors and you manage to catch that lived in homely feel that's so hard to achieve. Well done and keep up the great work, can't wait to see what you create next!

Your photography was done as if I were in the actual house! It looked so real! I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
